I was born and raised as a Hasidic Orthodox Jew in the Brooklyn, NY area. I studied Orthodox Jewish law (halacha) throughout my childhood years, in a Jewish Bais Yaakov (what's that? As I grew older and would meet more people at my workplace I found it fascinating, how little people know about Judaism in general and in particular on Orthodox Judaism. I constantly explain my behavior and dress code. I work as a 5th grade teacher in an orthodox Jewish school.
Being that I was raised in Brooklyn, I still wanted to get more familiar and acquainted with other walks and streams of Orthodox Jewry. I read lots of books, traveled through most areas where Orthodox Jews live - from modern-orthodox to Ultra-Orthodox tight knit communities, from Yeshivish to Hasidic, Satmar, Lubavitch and Breslov. I traveled to Israel, Uk, Holland, Poland and more. I learned fascinating facts and here I am sharing it with you!
I am married to my wonderful husband Yosef and I have four wonderful children! All are learning in Orthodox Jewish schools. I always take guests at home as part of my enjoyment to teach Orthodox Judaism for all.
